Bring a touch of magic to your gathering.

Hygge isn’t a work. It’s a concept. A feeling. A state of conscious connectedness. There is no translation. It just is.

Hygge calls for embracing the ordinary, enjoying the everyday, being in the moment. Most importantly, you’re creating calm so you can enjoy the company of others. You share life, creating life in each other.

Hygge is appreciating what you have and extending generosity to those around you. It’s a commitment to self-compassion - celebrating where you’ve been, where you are right now, and where you’re going. It’s investing in yourself. Throughout the day you are being intentional to savor the moment and, at the end of day, you are filling your cup with gratitude.

If you’re seeking wholeness, hygge is for you.

Kim is a hygge master, a bespoke tastemaker, who knows how to channel conscious coziness. She has learned how to hone hygge and wants to help others to be present in the moment.

She crafts warm, organic spaces so you can focus on being together with those you love, relaxing, indulging, and giving gratitude. Her thoughtfully curated spaces are as naturally timeless as they are whimsical. Her eye for quality and attention to detail ensure a seamless and elevated experience.

Kim specializes in event styling and planning, lighting, floristry, charcuterie boards and Smörgåsbords, and evoking the spirit of hygge.

You deserve the good things that life has to offer.

I wanted to be a therapist. Instead, I discovered therapy through community gathering.

About Kim

Hi! I’m Kim Morrison and I’m so glad you’re here. Hygge discovered me as I moved out of a dark season of postpartum depression and anxiety. I continue to live with both, but my lows are not as low, bad days come much less often, and I bounce back a little better every time. Practicing hygge helps me slow down and embrace where I am right now, and I love helping others create calm in their own lives through The Hygge Gathering.

I currently live in Louisville, Kentucky with two fun loving, wild little boys (Jack and Henry) and my husband, Ryan. I grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia; living in Louisville is the furthest I’ve ever lived from the ocean. The hygge community has really helped me create a new home with lovely people in a strange place.
